The Ancona Farmer\u2019s Market is open every day from 7:30-12:30. \u00a0It\u2019s in a rustic building with beautiful produce from nearby farms and fish from the sea. \u00a0We\u2019ve read that it\u2019s going to be renovated soon!<\/p>\n

There were end of the season roses:<\/p>\n

And a bouquet of yellow flowers that remind us that it\u2019s fall!<\/p>\n

Today we both got our hair cut \u00a0at Salone Parigi! \u00a0<\/b>We took a chance that we could walk-in without an appointment. Dear Luciano was a very kind man and he took his time with both of our cuts! \u00a0He didn\u2019t speak much English but we cobbled together enough phrases to make it all work out! \u00a0He told us about his children and his travels.\u00a0His shop was cozy and comfortable with lots of magazines and a bowl of candies to keep us occupied while we waited. \u00a0It was such a nice experience. And we each got a great haircut! \u00a0The cost for two very careful haircuts was \u20ac58.<\/p>\n

Later we walked along the port where the ferries and cruise ships are docked. \u00a0We saw Ancona\u2019s Trajan Arch from another angle and had a view of Cattedrale San Ciraco in the distance\u2026up on the hill that we climbed yesterday.<\/p>\n

We think that we\u2019ve made most of our time in Ancona. \u00a0It\u2019s worth a short visit! \u00a0Tomorrow we\u2019ll take the train to Orvieto\u2026a town that we\u2019ve enjoyed visiting in the past. \u00a0We\u2019re hoping that truffles are in season!<\/p>\n
