On Tuesday, our flight will take us non-stop from Atlanta to Dusseldorf, Germany where we’ll have a short layover before we catch a flight (one hour and 45 minutes in length) from Dusseldorf to Krakow.<\/p>\n
Our itinerary looks like this:<\/p>\n
Krakow<\/strong>-5 nights<\/p>\n Wroclaw<\/strong>-4 nights<\/p>\n Warsaw<\/strong>-4 nights<\/p>\n Torun<\/strong>-2 nights<\/p>\n Gdansk<\/strong>-5 nights<\/p>\n We’ve reserved hotels in each city.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We’ll be in Krakow for Easter<\/strong> and Passover<\/strong> and hope to experience some of the traditions surrounding these holidays.\u00a0 Krakow is majority Catholic (87.2 percent according to Wikipedia) but there is a lively Jewish quarter called Kazimierz.<\/p>\n We’re especially looking forward to the Easter Market in Krakow<\/strong> where we’ve read that wooden stalls in the Market Square sell decorated Easter eggs, baskets, tablecloths, gingerbread hearts, cheeses, sausages, hot spiced wine and\u00a0 much more!<\/p>\n We plan to post every few days as Internet allows.\u00a0 Follow along if you’d like!<\/p>\n Twoje zdrowie!<\/p>\n (That’s “Cheers” in Polish!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Greetings!
